Well-Organized and Professional Reception

Huaxi Special Steel attached great importance to this internship, and at 12:00 p.m., Director Gao of the company’s General Affairs Office warmly welcomed the students and faculty at the South Gate. Afterward, the group had lunch in the cafeteria on the second floor of the living area, replenishing their energy for the upcoming learning activities.

At 1:00 p.m., Mr. Liang from the Safety Department led a safety education training session for the students and faculty, emphasizing the safety regulations and precautions at the plant to ensure a safe and secure visit.

On-Site Observation to Deepen Understanding

Under the leadership of Administrative Deputy Manager Dang, the students were divided into two groups and officially began their plant tour. They followed a well-planned route, visiting the Energy Hall, Blast Furnace at the Ironmaking Plant, Converter at the Steelmaking Plant, Heavy-Wide Plate Plant, and the Sintering Workshop. During the tour, professional technicians from Huaxi Special Steel provided detailed explanations of the production processes, equipment operations, and carbon neutrality technology applications in steel manufacturing. The explanations, presented in a clear and accessible manner, gave the students an intuitive and profound understanding of the entire steel production process.

After the tour, all the students and faculty gathered at the South Gate for a group photo to commemorate the enriching internship experience. With many insights and newfound knowledge, the group concluded their visit.
